About the Role
As a Staff Software Engineer, Backend, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading the design and development of scalable backend services, incorporating advanced machine learning and AI, and continuously improving the developer experience. You will also coach and mentor team members, design new application features, and recommend new technologies to enhance products.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- 8+ years of experience developing large-scale software systems using modern frameworks, tools, and architectures.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript, ReactJS).
- Experience with cloud-based architectures and deployment, particularly on AWS.
Preferred:
- Strong product and business mindset, able to connect technical decisions to business outcomes.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, with experience guiding and mentoring engineers.
- Solid grounding in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
