As a Staff Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on high-impact projects, design and develop large-scale software solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly prototype ideas. You will navigate complex problems and influence technical direction across backend, mobile, and web platforms, contributing to the growth of Google One's AI plans.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with full-stack development, including experience with prototyping, and programming in Java or Kotlin.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience building and developing scaled full stack web, backend, and mobile applications.
