About the Role
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in computer architecture and firmware development to optimize a global-scale server fleet. You will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions, manage project priorities, and provide technical direction for critical projects while mentoring engineers.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience in Linux, C++, Shell Scripting, Python, Operating Systems, Embedded Systems, GPU Drivers, Firmware, Linux Kernel, Reliability, and Leadership.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a global organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Experience in Computer Architecture, Bootloaders, Continuous Build, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Test, and GPUs/ML accelerators.
