About the Role
About You
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- Valid PE license.
- Experience with the design of utility-scale electrical substations.
- Structural design of electrical substation steel structures and their foundations.
- Basic structural steel and concrete experience using 3D analysis and design software such as RISA 3D or STAAD Pro.
- Basic foundation design experience using analysis and design software such as L-Pile and RISA Foundation, SP-Mats, and SP-Col.
- Solid experience using EXCEL or similar spreadsheets and MathCAD design templates.
- Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards.
