Summary
BKF Engineers is seeking a Staff Surveyor to join their team in Newport Beach, CA. The role involves assisting senior project surveyors and project managers on various surveying projects including 3D laser scanning and topographic surveys.
About the Role
As a Staff Surveyor, you will create mapping deliverables, post-process field data, and assist in the construction of high-profile projects. You will work on boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys, and may be required to travel to various job sites and offices.
About You
Required:
- 1-3 years of office surveying experience.
- Knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Proficient in CAD software, especially Autodesk Civil 3D.
Preferred:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or LSIT certification.
- Construction staking experience, including reading plans and preparing cut sheets.
- Experience processing laser scanning data, including registration and 3D modeling.
