About the Role
About You
- BS degree in a STEM field with 12+ years of related experience, MS degree in STEM field with 10+ years of related experience, or PhD in STEM field with 7+ years of related experience.
- Experience decomposing requirements for DoD-based platforms or systems.
- Working knowledge of DOORS.
- Experience working collaboratively on complex projects that encompass both hardware and software.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent decision-making and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams solving technical challenges and developing engineering work products.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance with additional customer specified clearance prior to start.
- Experience supporting DoD programs during EMD and/or LRIP phases.
- Skill at coaching and mentoring early career engineers.
- Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) methods and tools.
- Experience working as part of an Agile team and maintaining awareness of cost and schedule constraints.
- Working knowledge from the following specialty areas: EOIR systems, sensors, optics.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
