About the Role
As a Staff Systems Power Engineer, you will work with cross-functional hardware and software teams to model power consumption, analyze and improve software for key components of the chipset SoC, debug battery drain issues, and develop tools for validating power consumption.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in power management or power design/methodology.
- 6 years of experience in development, testing, and deployment for Android BSP.
- Experience in system modeling and performance optimization.
- Experience with Embedded Processors.
Preferred:
- Experience with mobile phone hardware subsystems, including application processor, multimedia, GPU, modem, and wi-fi.
- Experience with improving software for power and performance improvements.
- Knowledge of embedded software system design.
- Knowledge of Linux kernel and Android system.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
