About the Role
As a Staff TLM, you will lead a team responsible for scaling Waymo's business in the Vehicle Understanding area. Your responsibilities include developing collaborative relationships with various teams, exercising technical leadership, managing a diverse team, optimizing key pipelines, and developing execution strategies that balance short-term and long-term priorities.
About You
Required:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related disciplines.
- 7+ years of experience in computer vision and deep learning production systems in the autonomous driving vehicle space.
- 3+ years of experience managing medium-sized (10+ people) production teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
Preferred:
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related disciplines.
- 10+ years of experience in deep learning, machine learning, and related fields.
- Publications in top CV conferences (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, etc.)
