About the Role
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for assigning staffing resources to care areas, monitoring staff resources using scheduling software, participating in bed meeting huddles, resolving staffing and scheduling issues, collaborating with nursing leadership to maintain schedules, preparing reports on productivity and staffing metrics, communicating staffing issues to leadership, filling open shifts, assisting with scheduling software issues and orientation, and ensuring accurate staff shift assignments.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in a hospital environment and clinical service support functions.
- Experience with computers and high degree of accuracy.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Attention to detail with thorough follow-through.
Preferred:
- College degree in healthcare or business.
- Two years of staffing experience.
