About the Role
As a State Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting automotive vehicles, checking systems for proper functionality, and ensuring compliance with emission standards. Your daily tasks will include testing vehicles, inspecting essential mechanical systems, and issuing inspection stickers. You will also keep records of inspections and suggest improvements for vehicles that fail inspection.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Valid Mass inspector license.
- One year of experience in a service department.
Preferred:
- ASE Certification or a technical degree.
- Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities.
- Effective analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
