Summary
Mission Health is seeking a Sterile Processing and OR Liaison to join their team in Asheville, NC. The role involves coordination and oversight of instrument readiness in the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department to facilitate efficient case flow.
About the Role
As a Sterile Processing and OR Liaison, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting in projects and process improvement initiatives in compliance with contractual obligations. You will promote customer service and satisfaction through the resolution of OR/SPD issues within the facility, and perform duties in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Additionally, you will provide oversight to projects and assist in new hire orientation and training.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years of O.R., SPD, or Perioperative work experience.
- Must have, or obtain, SPD certification through CBSPD or HSPA within 12 months of hire.
Preferred:
- Associate Degree.
- 6+ years of O.R., SPD, or Perioperative work experience.
- Computer skills including proficiency in data entry, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Certified Instructor for TNCC.
