About the Role
As a Sterile Processing Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing educational needs, developing standardized processes, and collaborating with the Sterile Processing Department to ensure proper education and competency. Your tasks will include promoting continuing education, maintaining documentation for team member competencies, planning orientation for new staff, and developing education plans for skill building.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate.
- Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT), or Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) certification.
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in sterile processing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sterile processing and high level disinfection (HLD).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in developing and implementing educational programs.
- Ability to function in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
