About the Role
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will independently perform duties to decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, sterilize, and store surgical instruments and equipment. You will maintain safety standards, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure proper documentation of sterilization processes. The position requires building rapport with internal and external customers and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma required.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Preferred:
- 2 years’ experience with certification in sterile processing preferred, but will allow up to six months to become certified if not certified upon hire.
- Certification as a Certified Sterile Processing Tech or Certified Surgical Technician with two years minimum experience in Central Sterile Processing.
