About the Role
As a Sterile Processing Tech II, you will be responsible for operating complex sterilization equipment, verifying sterilization parameters, and ensuring the proper assembly and disassembly of surgical instruments. You will also communicate effectively with hospital departments, participate in training new employees, and rotate assignments within the department.
About You
Required:
- High School Grad or Equivalent
- Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Understanding of microbiology and infection control principles
- Knowledge of sterilization processes and equipment operation
Preferred:
- Technical/Vocational School education
- Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS)
- 1+ years of related experience
- Ability and experience with computer systems
