About the Role
As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will be responsible for cleaning and decontaminating reusable medical devices, inspecting and sterilizing them, and maintaining instruments and supplies according to department standards. You will also document cleaning activities, maintain current knowledge and certification, and work effectively within and between departments.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
- Basic Computer skills required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
Preferred:
- Completion of a Sterile Processing/Surgical Technologist program.
- 1-2 years experience in sterile processing or relevant hospital experience.
- Certification as Central Service Technician.
- Extensive knowledge of instrumentation.
