STERIS is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician Lead to join their team in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves providing on-site support, training, and communication regarding the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays.

About the Role

As a Sterile Processing Technician Lead, you will support daily operations related to the reprocessing of reusable medical supplies and instrumentation, including decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and storage processes. You will collaborate with management for scheduling training and quality assurance programs, direct department workflow based on Lean concepts, and maintain professional relationships with facility departments to ensure effective support to patient caregivers.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or GED.
2 years of experience demonstrated proficiency in Sterile Processing.
CRCST Certification and additional certification (CIS, CHL, FCS and/or Endo) required.
Extensive knowledge of instrumentation and proficiency in all areas of sterile processing.

Preferred:

Completion of a Sterile Processing/Surgical Technologist program preferred.
