About the Role
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience, meeting sales and profitability goals, and managing store operations. Your daily tasks will include interacting with customers, developing relationships, training and mentoring staff, and ensuring professionalism in all transactions. You will also be involved in personnel matters such as interviewing and conducting performance reviews, while maintaining the stability and reputation of Kimbrell’s culture.
About You
Required:
- Proven experience in retail management.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work within a team.
Preferred:
- Experience in training and developing staff.
- Ability to travel for training and possible relocation.

Kimbrell’s Furniture
In 1915, the first Kimbrell's Furniture opened in downtown Columbia, SC. Surviving both the Great Depression and World War II, Kimbrell's began growing to the company it is today starting in 1946. By 1990, there were fifty retail stores with a central warehouse distribution facility and a general accounting and service office. The current team continues to adhere to the proven policies established by the Kimbrell family. In 2015, Kimbrell's celebrated 100 years of business.
