Guidehouse is seeking a Strategy and Transformation Senior Consultant to join their team in Chicago, IL. The role involves facilitating collaboration between government entities and business stakeholders to enhance economic resilience during emergency management operations.
About the Role
As a Strategy and Transformation Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for building relationships between federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial governments and key business stakeholders. Your duties will include utilizing GIS services to analyze supply chain impacts, developing collaborative actions with stakeholders, and facilitating communication between federal and local entities. You will also assess and improve existing emergency management integration processes and document best practices.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Six (6) years of experience in emergency disaster management
- Experience using GIS services such as ArcGIS
- Direct experience or familiarity with FEMA or DHS
- Familiarity with the National Response and Recovery Framework (NRF) and (NDRF)
Preferred:
- Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY
- Familiarity with private sector integration with the federal government
- Experience with public affairs and strategic communications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
