About the Role
As a Structural Engineer | Propulsion, you will be responsible for optimizing designs of propulsion system components, documenting analyses, validating boundary conditions, and developing test plans. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure product efficiency and certifiability, while working in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation in electric aviation.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical structure analysis: static structure, bolted joints, fatigue, rotordynamics, modal.
- Experience in FEA (ANSYS workbench preferred).
- Ability to guide design team to optimize structure.
- Good team, communication and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Ability to iterate mechanical designs to reduce mass and improve robustness.
- Strong knowledge of vibration.
- Experience with rotating machinery.
- Experience with electrical motors, inverters.
