About the Role
As an AI-Driven Structural Design Engineer / Software Developer, you will develop a software framework to automate design iterations within Revit and SAP2000/ETABS, build APIs or plugins for BIM and structural analysis tools, and incorporate AI/ML models to enhance design processes. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and developers to translate design logic into programmatic solutions and ensure compliance with design standards.
About You
Required:
- PhD Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years experience using Revit, ETABS, and/or SAP2000 in real-world projects.
- Proficiency in Python, C#, or Revit API development.
- Proven experience applying machine learning models to engineering or design problems.
- Understanding of structural design codes and modeling practices.
- Experience with automating design workflows and parametric modeling.
Preferred:
- Experience integrating or building optimization algorithms.
- Familiarity with cloud-based computation for large structural simulations.
- Prior experience in prefab, modular, or industrialized construction.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or significantly contribute to cross-functional R&D initiatives.
