About the Role
As a Structured Product Lawyer, you will lead product design discussions, draft and review various legal documents, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and support business development efforts. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies to deliver innovative investment structures.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of relevant work experience at a top law firm, bank or asset manager focused on structuring securitization vehicles.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in a US jurisdiction.
- Experience drafting and reviewing offering documents and securitization documentation.
- Strong understanding of applicable regulation, including securities and advisory regulation as well as securitization laws.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with structuring forms of financing options for private credit funds.
- Experience structuring and drafting documents for rated feeders and CFOs.
- Knowledge of the rating process and structural features.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and project management skills.
