About the Role
As a Student Assistant, you will work with the Center for Career and Leadership Development (CCLD) Coordinator for Student Leadership Programs. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily office operations, planning leadership development events, managing social media communications, and providing administrative support. You will also communicate effectively with clients and staff regarding various career and leadership services.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Currently enrolled Middle Georgia State University student with a minimum of 6 credit hours
- Critical and creative thinking skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
Preferred:
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, Canva, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Event and/or program planning experience
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures
- Knowledge of principles of leadership
- Previous involvement in student leadership at the university level
