About the Role
As a Student Respiratory Aide, you will assist in delivering basic respiratory care to non-acute patients, including drawing blood samples, administering oxygen delivery devices, and maintaining respiratory equipment. You will also be responsible for ensuring a clean and organized work area and may perform EKGs and monitor non-invasive equipment.
About You
Required:
- Current student in good standing with an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program or a recent graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program.
- Current Respiratory Care Limited Permit as required by the state.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Basic computer skills and troubleshooting abilities.
