AstraZeneca is seeking a Study Contract Manager to join their team in Wilmington, DE. The role involves driving costings and contracts for clinical trials, negotiating budgets, and managing contracts with investigators and institutions.
About the Role
As a Study Contract Manager, you will be responsible for adapting global templates of agreements to local use, developing and negotiating clinical site budgets, maintaining the status of agreements, and ensuring compliance with AstraZeneca's policies. You will also support internal and external audit activities and may train new team members on financial and contractual issues.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, preferably in life science, law, finance or equivalent qualification.
Excellent knowledge of international guidelines ICH-GCP and basic knowledge of GMP/GDP.
Good knowledge of relevant local regulations.
Basic understanding of the drug development process.
Good understanding of Clinical Study Management including monitoring, study drug handling and data management.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Good negotiation skills.
Preferred:
Ability to work in an environment of remote collaborators.
Post-graduate training in contracts administration or work experience as a paralegal in the pharmaceutical or health care industry.
Ability to champion more efficient methods/processes for delivering quality clinical trials.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines.
Familiar with risk-based monitoring approach including remote monitoring.
Good cultural awareness.
Ability to understand the impact of technology on projects.
