Summary
Supercuts is seeking a Stylist in Training / Apprentice Stylist to join their team in Bend, OR. This temporary 90-day position is designed to integrate an unlicensed, future stylist into the salon workplace and help them learn the business.
About the Role
As a Stylist in Training, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, marketing and growing the business, observing other stylists, and completing various salon tasks. You will also promote and sell services and retail products, manage expenses, and assist with administrative tasks. This role provides an opportunity for promotion to a stylist position upon obtaining the necessary license.
About You
Required:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited cosmetology school or have completed graduation while obtaining the necessary license(s) to perform salon services within or before 90 days of hire-date.
- Ability to work in a dynamic salon environment.
- Good time management skills, good judgment, and the ability to multi-task.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Computer knowledge including point-of-sale systems and data entry.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
