About the Role
As a Subcontracts Admin. III, you will manage the full subcontract lifecycle from solicitation through closeout, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies. You will mentor junior staff, negotiate terms with suppliers, draft and administer subcontract agreements, and monitor subcontractor performance. Your responsibilities will also include sourcing IT commodities and managing facilities-related contracts.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4-7+ years of progressive subcontract administration or procurement experience in a government contracting environment.
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and related government procurement regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting DoD or other federal programs.
- Knowledge of CPSR requirements and audit preparation.
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or similar credential.
