ICF is seeking a Substation Protection & Control Engineer to join their team remotely, preferably in the Central or Eastern Time Zone. The role focuses on designing relay and protection control projects for high voltage substations ranging from 12kV to 500kV.
About the Role
As a Substation Protection & Control Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and preparing Protection and Control Drawings, including protective schemes, substation relay one lines and three lines, AC/DC schematics, and more. You will also develop equipment specifications, coordinate with various disciplines, participate in client meetings, and ensure quality assurance processes are followed on all design packages.
About You
Required:
BS in Engineering, preferably electrical or computer engineering.
3+ years of protection and controls experience.
3+ years of experience working with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
Preferred:
Engineering in Training license (EIT).
Professional Engineer License (PE).
Advanced user of Microsoft products, specifically Excel and Word.
Knowledge of industry standards such as NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI.
Knowledge of design techniques and tools for producing technical plans and drawings.
