About the Role

As a Substitute Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting and managing academic classes, promoting a positive classroom atmosphere, maintaining discipline, and coordinating curriculum development with career tech instructors. You will also evaluate student performance and provide feedback, maintain student records, and participate in staff training and graduation exercises.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
Must have a valid Washington State Teaching License.
Minimum of one to two years related experience in education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred:

Experience in teaching diverse subjects such as Workplace Communications and Driver's Education.
Ability to manage multiple projects and demonstrate flexibility and problem-solving skills.
