About the Role
As a Substitute Teacher Aide, you will work under supervision to assist in preparing children and families by meeting program goals and objectives. Your responsibilities will include interacting with children, supporting parents, maintaining a safe classroom environment, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will also participate in recruitment and screenings, collect data on services provided, and stay current with early childhood practices.
About You
Required:
High School diploma or GED.
Willingness to enroll in a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential program upon employment and complete it within two years.
Preferred:
Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Child Development Associate credential.
Previous experience working with preschool age children.
Previous experience with a Head Start Program.
