About the Role
As a Summer Camp Supervisor, you will assist in scheduling and organizing daily camp activities, perform opening and closing duties, manage camper discipline, and supervise camp staff. You will also ensure the safety of all campers and uphold YMCA policies and procedures while engaging with parents and staff.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Two years related experience/training working with children ages 5-14, including one year of staff supervision experience.
- Mandatory Summer Camp Training from May 16th - 23rd.
- Current American Red Cross CPR for the professional rescuer (includes AED) and First Aid Certifications within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- 21 years or older.
