About the Role
As a Co-op Intern in the Genomic Medicine Unit, you will be responsible for engaging in viral vector purification processes, performing analytical characterization of samples, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will actively learn new techniques, independently conduct experiments, and contribute to technical reports and publications.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in biological sciences, genetic engineering, engineering sciences, or related field with expected graduation by Spring 2027.
- Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
- Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Solid understanding of cell engineering, molecular biology, virology, and immunology concepts.
- Knowledge of chromatography, tangential flow filtration, and viral clearance and inactivation.
- Experience with analytical tools for characterizing proteins and viral vectors.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience with SEC-HPLC, DLS, ddPCR/qPCR, Western blot, ELISA, and other analytical techniques.
