Summary
Center for Transportation and the Environment is seeking a Summer Intern to join their team in Berkeley, CA. The role involves supporting projects related to zero-emission transportation, industry collaboration, and workforce development.
About the Role
As a Summer Intern, you will work closely with CTE staff to assist in project research, administrative coordination, and internal process improvement. You will gain exposure to nonprofit project implementation, including grant administration, financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement. The internship includes participation in professional development sessions and culminates in a presentation to CTE leadership.
About You
Required:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in team environments and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- Interest in clean transportation, sustainability, energy systems, or environmental policy.
- Experience with research, data analysis, or project coordination.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, databases, or data management tools.
- Prior internship, academic project, or leadership experience demonstrating initiative and problem solving.
