About the Role
As a Discovery Pharmacology Intern, you will contribute to studies characterizing protein expression in human cell lines and analyzing experimental data. Your responsibilities will include performing cell culture, conducting immunoassays, maintaining detailed experimental records, and summarizing findings in a scientific poster. You will collaborate with scientists and present project results to the research team at the end of the internship.
About You
Required:
- Currently enrolled student at an accredited university or college, majoring in a biology-related field such as Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Human Biology, Neuroscience, or a related discipline.
- Completion of relevant coursework in biology or life sciences.
- Familiarity with protein expression analysis, immunoassays, or cell-based assays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
- Completion of coursework in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Neurobiology, and/or Biotechnology.
- Interest in translational research or neuroscience-related drug discovery.
- Strong curiosity and motivation to learn new laboratory techniques.
