About the Role
As a Summer Intern, you will work closely with the Crew Lead, shadowing various departments to learn about the company's operations. Your responsibilities will include identifying and treating invasive weeds, inspecting pond components, mowing, weed-eating, and cleaning sites, as well as operating equipment such as mowers and trimmers. This internship provides a hands-on learning experience in the environmental services industry.
About You
Required:
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program in natural sciences or a compatible environmental studies program, preferably entering Junior or Senior year.
- Proven interest in working outdoors with a passion for creating and maintaining healthy aquatic systems.
- Ability to swim.
- Ability to regularly lift 75 pounds.
Preferred:
- Relevant work experience in environmental services or related fields.
- Ability to adapt and improvise quickly in changing conditions.
