Neros Technologies is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team in El Segundo, CA. The role involves driving supplier development, production ramp-up, and ongoing quality improvement in the defense technology sector.
About the Role
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be a founding member of the Supply Chain team, working directly with the Head of Supply Chain to scale production in response to increasing demand. Your responsibilities will include analyzing engineering design specifications for manufacturability, developing structured process flows, conducting capacity assessments at supplier sites, collaborating with design engineers, sourcing parts, resolving supplier quality issues, and implementing production part approval processes.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or a STEM discipline.
5+ years of manufacturing, process or supply chain engineering experience.
5+ years of experience with PCB assembly, mechanical assemblies or electronic assemblies manufacturing.
Proven track record of taking ownership, successfully negotiating preferred pricing and driving results.
Knowledge of supplier quality processes (production part approval process, advanced product quality planning, first article inspection reports, etc.).
Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP).
Knowledge of statistical techniques and methods, e.g., design of experiments, Six Sigma, etc.
