Technical Safety Services is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on vendor management and sourcing strategies to ensure the smooth flow of materials and services.
About the Role
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, maintaining supplier relationships, and tracking key performance indicators. You will also ensure compliance with company policies and collaborate with various teams to communicate supply chain performance updates.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5 years of purchasing and/or supply management experience.
- Experience with purchasing in ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics and SAP.
Preferred:
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and demand planning.
- Knowledge of sourcing methods, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
