About the Role
As a Support Teacher, you will be responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children. Your duties will include implementing lesson plans, maintaining a well-kept classroom, providing verbal recognition to children, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also assist in maintaining the classroom and playground areas and support the Director in various capacities as needed.
About You
Required:
- Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
Preferred:
- Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the facilitation of programs and child safety.
