Summary
NAVWAR is seeking a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) to join their IT Division at the SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER in San Diego, CA. The role involves providing Cybersecurity oversight and developing cyber program plans.
About the Role
As a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), you will be responsible for overseeing cybersecurity for the command, developing and adjusting cyber program plans, testing and maintaining system security software, analyzing equipment and software reliability, and providing consultation to users. You will also participate in developing IT security strategies and ensure compliance with DoD and DoN information management programs.
About You
Required:
- One year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private/public sector.
- Experience analyzing, implementing, and managing IT network system requirements and security standards.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of core services of Cybersecurity, including testing and maintaining systems security software.
- Experience in customer service and problem-solving within IT environments.
