Summary
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Surgical Account Manager to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves driving growth and utilization of the Impella product portfolio among cardiac surgeons and heart failure cardiologists.
About the Role
As a Surgical Account Manager, you will work closely with the cardiology sales and clinical team to support cardiac surgeons and heart failure cardiologists. Your responsibilities will include gaining distribution and utilization of the Impella 5.5 and Impella RP devices, achieving quarter-over-quarter growth, and building surgical verticals in established Impella programs. You will also be responsible for driving excitement and vision of heart recovery solutions with existing devices and future technologies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 10+ years experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device sales required for the Surgical Account Manager level.
- Proven track record of selling in an operating room.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery and structural heart anatomy.
- Established relationships/network of Cardiac Surgeons across the region.
- Direct patient support experience required.
- Ability to drive patient outcomes required.
- Ability to travel 50%-75% overnight required.
Preferred:
- A minimum of 5+ years experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device clinical or sales for the Associate Account Manager level.
- Proven track record in leading and motivating teams to successfully achieve quotas.
- Proven track record of technology adoption and market development.
