About the Role
As a Surgical Attendant, you will verify patient location and identification, assist patients during transport, communicate with patients to respond to their needs, and provide emergency assistance as required. You will also prepare the unit for surgical cases, assist with patient positioning, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
About You
Required:
- Six months experience in a hospital setting or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Current BCLS certification.
Preferred:
- Basic mechanical knowledge for assembly of equipment.
- Knowledge of sterile technique.
