About the Role

As a Surgical Enhanced Technologist, you will assist in ensuring the presence and proper arrangement of surgical equipment, supplies, and instrumentation in the operating room prior to each operation. You will provide assistance to the surgeon in the operating room, assist in the turnover of the operating room after procedures, and work as a member of the surgical team. Additionally, you will train colleagues on various skills and tasks and act as a resource or mentor to less experienced colleagues.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma/GED.
Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist obtained from the NBSTSA.
Basic Life Support Certification.
Expertise in advanced technology within specialty service, including lasers, robotics, and implantable electronic devices.
Documentation of 19 Contact Hours of Continuing Education.
Knowledge of the name and function of surgical equipment and instrumentation.
Strict adherence to policies and regulations regarding maintenance of sterile field.
Minimum of 1 year OR experience in the Skilled Technologist role or relevant experience.
