Indiana University Health is seeking a Surgical Enhanced Technologist - PRN to join their team at the Fort Wayne Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role involves providing service and support before, during, and after surgical procedures in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

As a Surgical Enhanced Technologist, you will assist in ensuring the proper arrangement of surgical equipment and supplies in the operating room, provide assistance to the surgeon, and help with the turnover of the operating room after procedures. You will work closely with a surgical team and may train colleagues on various skills. This position requires floating between multiple specialties and working in a multi-specialty facility.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma/GED.
Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist from the NBSTSA.
Basic Life Support Certification.
Minimum of 1 year OR experience in the Skilled Technologist role or relevant experience.
Knowledge of surgical equipment and instrumentation.

Preferred:

Experience within multiple specialties.
Expertise in advanced technology within specialty service, such as lasers, robotics, and implantable electronic devices.
Documentation of 19 Contact Hours of Continuing Education.
