About the Role
As a Surgical ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care to patients in the Surgical ICU. Your daily tasks will include performing procedures as ordered by medical providers, teaching patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care effectively. You will also be involved in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided.
About You
Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree; BSN required with 12-month enrollment and 24-month completion.
- Minimum of 1 year Critical Care or ICU experience.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
