About the Role
As a Surgical Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Vitreous Retinal, you will serve as a strategic link between Alcon and Medical Experts/Key Opinion Leaders in Ophthalmology and Optometry. Your responsibilities will include leading Investigator Initiated Trials, delivering medical presentations, developing scientific relationships, and providing medical support to healthcare associations. You will also collect and analyze insights that may impact company strategies and support educational efforts.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
- 7 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Preferred:
- MD, DO, or OD with specialization in Ophthalmology.
- Advanced knowledge of retinal surgical procedures and eye diseases.
- Experience in an ophthalmology or optometry field.
- Experience in an ECP-facing role.
- Working knowledge of the Healthcare System and research procedures.
- Essential knowledge of clinical trial design and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in scientific presentations and medical writing.
