About the Role
As a Surgical Technologist I, you will be responsible for ensuring the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that surgical procedures are conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Your daily tasks will include performing technical duties in all operating room specialty service areas, maintaining and sterilizing instruments, following aseptic techniques, assisting in surgical counts, and supporting the surgical team during procedures.
About You
Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology or Nursing Program; or Graduate of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology; or 3+ years of prior experience as a surgical tech.
Preferred:
- Experience in sports orthopedics or ENT.
- Strong communication skills and customer service relations.
- Excellent organizational and priority-setting skills.
