About the Role
As a Surgical Tech II Relief, you will assist the surgeon and/or qualified first assistant during surgical procedures by performing tasks such as sponging, suctioning, cutting sutures, holding retractors, and manipulating the endoscopic camera. You will monitor conditions in the operating room, assess the needs of the patient and surgical team, and obtain additional instruments, supplies, and equipment as necessary. Additionally, you will supervise other healthcare team members, providing orientation, training, and education to new personnel, while promoting a safe environment and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and policies.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Technical/Vocational School Certification
- Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
