About the Role
As a Surgical Technologist, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse to assist with surgical procedures, provide therapeutic, preventive, and emergency patient care, and maintain surgical equipment and supplies. Your responsibilities will include preparing instruments for sterilization, maintaining accurate records, and acting as a resource for patient care and surgical nursing.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.
- Current certification for BCLS.
- Current Mandatory Reporter Training for Child and Adult abuse.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
Preferred:
- One year experience in a surgical department or an acute care facility.
- Certification as a surgical technologist.
