About the Role
As a Surgical Technologist I, you will assist in setting up the surgical operating suite, utilize proper aseptic techniques, prepare and position patients, and participate in the surgical pause. You will also perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts, and ensure a cost-effective environment for patient care.
About You
Required:
- One year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program and nationally recognized certification (CST, TS-C) within 6 months of hire, or pre-existing employment as a surgical technologist before 12/29/2020.
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of Surgical Technologist experience.
