About the Role
As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and managing surgical instruments. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to maintain a sterile environment and assist during surgical procedures. Your duties will include counting instruments, resetting the operating room after surgeries, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited ORT/Surgical Tech program AND minimum one year of experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a main OR surgical setting for on-the-job trained techs.
- Proficiency in ENT and Plastics specialties.
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in various surgical areas.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
