About the Role
As a Surplus Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting data into the computer system, organizing files and paperwork, and maintaining the cleanliness of the surplus warehouse and office space. You will receive, inspect, and store incoming surplus, conduct physical counts of items, and manage the online auction of surplus items. Additionally, you will provide customer service to faculty, staff, students, and the public, and perform various administrative tasks.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma.
Possession of a valid SC driver's license.
Word processing, Excel, and data entry skills.
Preferred:
Inventory management/warehousing experience.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of light equipment operation and maintenance such as pallet jacks and tommy lifts.
